What am I reading 😂 darling your insecurities are showing .. it’s not snarky it’s not cute it’s toxic
I hope you find some peace in life.. body shaming women has been done for too long, and you are merely doing the same
(you’re body shaming women for loosing weight … you’d rather someone have an unhealthy lifestyle so it makes you feel better about yours … I am only assuming this because you refer to yourself multiple times as a fat lady … from the pic you’ve chosen you don’t appear at the upper BMI I wouldn’t use that term to describe you from looking at you)
So food for thought I wanna see if I can get you to understand my perspective … if you were a skinny /anorexic woman fixating on other anorexic celebrities … what you’re doing would be the equivalent of an anorexic woman being upset that someone she admired (who also suffered from the disease) had worked on themselves, gotten healthier and healed realizing 120 lbs is so much more beautiful than 80
The reverse of this post would be an anorexic woman body shaming celebs that shared her skeletal figure who then went on to be in recovery from their eating disorder
Body shaming is body shaming it doesn’t have a place in todays world IMO (I feel like I can speak on this topic because I’ve struggled with eating disorders all my life … what you’re doing isn’t okay)
It’s not snarky or cute it’s ugly
I would wager you’re lonely because your describing celebrities you’ve never met .. who have no concept of you as friends
Find some happiness this life is ti short!! .. OA helped me they have meetings available at the too if every hour or more
This makes me think you have insecurity.. you know what they say misery lives company right?
“one of them goes on a diet and leaves the fold I feel betrayed—like I’ve been abandoned by a friend (none of these actors are your friend nor do you have any sort of relationship with them at all … “
they’re not under any obligations to not loose weight to make you feel better ..
You seem jealous of these women.. a healthy lifestyle is attainable to all .. instead of being bitter your fav actresses have lost weight why don’t you try again .. ditch the concept of what a woman should look like and focus on getting stronger and it will all fall in line
“I’ve already mourned too many role models over the years. First there was Ricki Lake, as Tracy Turnblad, the fat girl who won the 50s dance competition in John Waters’ Hairspray. She was cute, campy danced, sang, and never mentioned her weight. She won our hearts. Then Lake lost weight and became a daytime talk show host, and never danced or sang again. She seemed to think this was a positive career move. I thought it was a big mistake. Her body and her career faded away.”
Morning someone’s healthy lifestyle change isn’t exactly healthy behavior (see above no one is required to maintain their weight to make anyone else feel better) and have you been on any of her pages lately?
She seems joyful, healthy so not snarky which let’s be real we have enough snarky people
You know what’s cooler than being snarky and pretending you don’t like anything?
Being positive and finding things that spark your joy so you’re not mad when others find theirs
By the time of her Roseanne follow up, the Conners, in 2018 she was a thin Trump supporter who imitated his propensity for offensive tweets and got fired. I can’t say it was weight loss that turned her into a right-winger, but it certainly didn’t help. (So really Roseanne loosing weight is what made her crazy ? Lol she’s always been “crazy” and had a TBI before she started acting that’s more likely the cause of this than loosing weight gave her a new personality
“I used to worship Melissa McCarthy—another brilliant comedian-- who keeps on yo-yo-ing weight-wise. She’s at her funniest when she’s at her fattest in my humble opinion, but she says she’s now a size 14 which is at least not anorexic. Weight loss doesn’t seem to have hurt her career, but it does hurt us, her fervent fat fans.”
Again you’re judging women based off their weight. You describe 14 as not anorexic .. hun as someone who suffered from the disease more than half of my life the size 14 would make an anorexic girls roll back into her head .. real anorexics ain’t 14 were talking 0-6 depending on their height and many of the worst are far smaller than that
“One notable fat actress on TV today—who shows no signs of losing weight—is This is Us star Chrissy Metz. She’s beautiful and charismatic on screen, truly an inspiration to so many plus size young women who think they’ll never get anywhere. But her stardom in the show is a double edged sword. Her weight has been a major driver of her character arc, which portrays her as obsessed with body image and weight loss. She meets her husband-to-be in a Weight Watchers meeting and struggles with him accepting her as she is. Her contract obligates her to lose weight along with her character but she says they’re not putting any pressure on her. Time will tell on this one. “
I have watched a decent amount of this show … so you seem to be upset that the “character” (yes character as in a fictionalized role) is portrayed as insecure and that her storyline involves her struggling with her weight
Well as quoted from Metz herself “Chrissy Metz says six years ago a panic attack helped her realize the connection between her depression and her weight gain.Kevork Djansezian / Getty Images
"I’m like, What is this? Am I dying? What’s happening?” Metz told People, recalling the terrifying attack. “It was really scary — really, really, really scary.
Metz skipped her birthday bash and checked herself into a hospital. The doctor's diagnosis, she said, was a wake-up call.
“I’m like, 'Oh, this is not just a physical thing. It’s like a soul/spirit/mind/body collective thing. Not everything’s connecting,'" recalled the actress.
From then on, Metz vowed to pay less attention to other people's opinions of her, which inspired her to take better care of herself. The weight melted off — 100 pounds in just five months.
But you’d rather the show portray the character as a beacon of health which she’s not because it enables your behavior
I’m sorry to be so rude (not really) … would you rather See Chrissy have a heart attack to make you feel better?

This article is so cringe .. I only write a response because OA helped me
I don’t even understand why you’d think this is appropriate to print professionally
Stop body shaming .. find your own truth and stop judging others for finding theirs
